Let&#8217;s discover this magic together.<\/p>\n<h2>The Vases Trail &#8211; where is it?<\/h2>\n<p>The Vases Trail begins among the ancient cobbled streets of the Upper Town, taking <strong>Via Castagneta<\/strong> until it reaches the locality of <strong>Gallina<\/strong>. This is a rather easy route, which can be covered in about <strong>45-60 minutes<\/strong>, since it is almost all flat, with some short sloping sections<strong> (52 metres difference in height<\/strong>) and the final staircase leading to the fountain.<\/p>\n<p>It is therefore an earth track <strong>suitable for everyone, young and adult<\/strong>, ideal for a Sunday excursion with your family, to enjoy the fresh air of the forest and its nature. certainly comes from vase, but in this case, it indicated a <strong>channel<\/strong> (actually a small gully) arranged for the <strong>flow of water<\/strong> and its transport.<\/p>\n<p>It cannot be ruled out, for instance, that the term &#8216;<strong>Invaso<\/strong>&#8216; derives precisely from this particular conformation that served as a pipe for transporting and directing water.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_600\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-600\" class=\"wp-image-600 size-full\" title=\"Interior Aqueduct\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bergamobytuktuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Interno-Acquedotto.jpg\" alt=\"Interior Aqueduct\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bergamobytuktuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Interno-Acquedotto.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.bergamobytuktuk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Interno-Acquedotto-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-600\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Interior Aqueduct<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Its origin is thought to date back <strong>to Roman times<\/strong>, which is why it is considered the <strong>oldest in the city of Bergamo,<\/strong> and it used to be the most important one in the Middle Ages, with documents dating back to <strong>1013<\/strong> testifying to its use.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>beginning of the aqueduct is located in Via Ramera<\/strong>, where a spring flows into a fountain that is still working.
