From April 10 to October 4, 2026<\/strong>, British artist and filmmaker Isaac Julien<\/strong>, internationally renowned for his cinematic installations, presents the exhibition project Museum Dreams<\/strong> in Bergamo at Gres Art 671<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Julien develops complex, multi-layered narratives that explore themes such as desire<\/strong>, collective memory<\/strong>, and the role of museum institutions, offering a critical perspective through which to reinterpret historical and contemporary events. On this occasion, the spaces of Gres Art 671 are reimagined and \u201cdeconstructed\u201d by the artist, becoming an integral part of the visual storytelling of his works.<\/p>\n

Museum Dreams examines the architectural contexts in which moving-image works are exhibited and preserved, both in institutional and personal settings, opening up reflections on the relationship between time and memory<\/strong> through five immersive installations, accompanied by sculptures, objects, photographs, and archival materials.<\/p>\n

The city of Bergamo will be the location of the Art2night<\/strong> nuite blanche<\/em> of art, which will take place on the 28th of September 2024 along the city streets. This will be the eleventh edition of this event, in which the streets of Bergamo’s historic centre will be populated by artists and performers.<\/p>\n
