Via Donizetti is an important street located in the historic centre of the Upper Town of Bergamo, and it is named after the famous Bergamo composer Gaetano Donizetti. Here you can see Palazzo Scotti, where Donizetti lived, and where he died in 1848. A plaque in memory of this famous composer can be seen on the façade of the palace.
